"Havasu Elks RV Elmer and Jewls the camp host couple are absolutely delightful, very helpful and definitely great hosts. We could not say enough about how well they do their job. Our camp site #14 was FAR more spacious than we had hope for. With full hookups and a distant view of the lake, we were thrilled with our spot. the lodge is hopping!...like every night with some great meal or fun event. a few things to note. the RV area is sharp crushed road based gravel. it works fine but pretty hard on your pups paws. there is NO grass anywhere..pretty much in Havasu at all. These folks love their rock and cement. The Havasu Elks bar is cash only (atm in bar) but meals and events credit/debit or cash is accepted. Wonderful lodge and every meal, event and interaction was great. Of note, Havasu is an official Dark Sky area..so, we brought a telescope and were not disappointed. From our campsite clear dark sky made for excellent stargazing and we enjoyed sharing the views with whoever wanted to participate while we were there. also, Franconia is close by and the largest and most productive Meteorite field on earth. Careful planning can score a fun day of hunting and perhaps some treasures. Lastly, while $200 plus per person was not in our plans to go out boating we did score the $5 round trip ferry to the casino and back and had a very nice lakeside lunch while there. That was an unexpected sweet find. Peace✌️ my Fellow Elks."

"“Greeted” horribly by the RV camp host. Arriving in a class C with a car dolly. Attempting to find our space and make sure we don’t get stuck when the “host” began yelling at me to check-in. I had been there less than 2 minutes. Offered him and lodge a chance to make this right before reviewing but apparently they think this is how to treat out of towners. As a host of our own even venue, I would be helping my guests with parking and way finding. I wouldn’t dream of watching them struggle and screaming at them to check in. I would also not stay on business long. I wrote to the lodge and NO RESPONSE. They even charged my card when we asked for a refund. Besides the HORRIBLE camp host, this is merely a gravel parking lot, quite a ways from the lake and all things fun. Do yourself a favor and skip this lodge."
